Holiday Party 1999

`Tis the season for us all to come together for a bit of merriment and food: thus were we invited to an All Academic Programs' Holiday Party on Thursday, December 16, 1999, in Kerr Hall, Studio A, 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. This was a time for an all department gathering to celebrate the holidays and spend a few moments with staff from other departments of Academic Programs.

In continuing the celebration of diversity and internationalization, the Diversity Committee highlighted some of the traditions observed in India by using party decorations and some costuming from that country. One such tradition is Diwali, the Festival of Lights, which signifies the advent of joy and happiness.
The committee members responsible for this event were
Brice Taylor, Chair, University Extension
Sergio Broderick-Villa, Education Abroad Program (EAP)
Lopaka Delp, Instructional Computing
Patti Gilbert, Off Campus Studies (OCS)
Kulvinder Johl, Instructional Development
