| Carol Parsons has worked at four outstanding universities: George Washington University, University of North Carolina, UCSB and UCLA. In each position, a portion of her job was dedicated to diversity education. As a Management Consultant, Carol has designed and facilitated programs for private industry, government agencies, and universities on a variety of diversity-related topics. A charter member and past vice president of UCSB's Professional Women's Association, Carol has collaborated with various campus agencies to develop sexual and racial harassment training programs and publications. Additionally, she co-instructed an academic course on ethnic and gender studies at UCSB. Carol has been trained as an Equity and Advocacy Facilitator and is certified in Conflict Mediation. Living overseas during high school and college has given her a global perspective that has strengthened her commitment to promote environments that embrace diversity. |
